Everyone remembers the 5 ‘W’s, right?
Who
What
When
Where
and
Why <———the most important one
Why you do something often drives the other decisions…..you know why…it makes sense, you believe in it, it needs to be done…..so when and where and what will it be?
Wyndscreen (starts with a W too….maybe its the 6th ‘W’!) has many whys…..but we are going to take this opportunity to highlight just one of the major, driving ones.
Wyndscreen is now the best online marketplace for private sellers and buyers to meet each other. Yes, there are a few others that have been around for many years now, but they still fall short and don’t provide the experience that most want now.
But WHY take on the big dogs? Easy:
Finding and buying a good used car can sometimes take a while, introduce frustration, and waste time even on a good day. Say you are wanting a good used Toyota 4runner for a project, a second car, or a car to send your kid to college with. That’s a great choice! You should have no problem finding what you want……that is, if the sellers actually list the vehicle spelled correctly and provide sufficient background information. Otherwise, you may miss it, skip over it, think it’s a scam, or just not bother because it looks a bit suspicious. However, it could be EXACTLY what you are looking for….but the connection is not made. And the cycle continues.
But you ask yourself….its 2023, why should I have to wade though misspellings and vague ads with the technology that we have today?
Can you believe that car selling sites just let you type whatever you want? That can’t be the most efficient way to do things!
And yet, before wyndscreen, this was the norm.
Back to this Toyota 4runner that you want. You know what years, trims, and drivetrains that you want. You’ve done your research, as you should. Let’s get to searching!
———-

Dang it! Its 4runner. Not forerunner, fourrunner, for runner, or any combination of ‘for’ ‘fore’ and ‘runner’. Is there a good way to seach for the 10 ways someone could mis-spell the car they own?
If you can’t spell, that’s fine. There are at least 3 badges on the car to help you. For next time.
OK, whatever…..let’s click on it. Fingers crossed.

Let’s see here…..what is FWD? Front wheel drive? Maybe? But 4runners are rear wheel drive or 4 wheel drive. WEIRD!
Maybe the more details sections will help……

NOPE. Not even a picture of the shifter area. UGH.
Skipping this one. Looks like too much hassle and potential wasted time.

This is the why. The wyndscreen team has been infuriated by this nonsense on other sites for years now. This, and many other reasons, is why wyndscreen.com is here to help your life be just a bit easier…..a bit less frustrating. That’s all we really want, right?
